My partner and I, a couple in our 30s, started 2022 ready to begin our journey to purchase our very first home. After obtaining our offer in principle, in October we started the exciting stage of house hunting. One thing for us was certain: we wanted to try our best to remain in our local area after living here for almost 6 years. We contacted a few local estate agents and started packing our first week with viewings. We immediately saw a number of properties, but nothing really stood out to us. Throughout this process, Victoria was absolutely stellar and a real pleasure to deal with! Her approach is really tailored and totally far off from what you'd expect from your "mainstream" estate agencies. It felt like we were dealing with a friend rather than a detached "middle person" working for a transaction to complete. A single Google review isn't enough to describe the lengths at which Victoria worked, how hard, how supportive, patient, reassuring and helpful she was. Especially at the very end, during an incredibly stressful and time sensitive exchange of contracts (our renewed mortgage offer was due to expire in a matter of days) she went well above and beyond her call of duty and single handedly saved the whole chain of buying from collapsing!! Victoria literally pulled a rabbit out of her magical estate agent hat! So much so that even the top chain vendor wished she knew about her sooner. Victoria truly made us feel like she had our best interest at heart and we are really thankful to have had her in our corner throughout this process. As first time buyers, her joint efforts with our team of broker, solicitors and surveyor, made it possible for us to take our first step on the property ladder and have a first dream home that is so much more than what we could've hoped for!
